From: W Klearman Thanks for the complimentary words. Here's a picture of the garden where the Sacred Cactus.Com Trichocereus will be planted next year. As you can see, I have a pretty good sized growing area, with little micro areas where some plants do better than other spots. I've been in the cactus hobby since around 1973, and have moved the plants around different houses in Atascadero, but at this location since 1992. My specialty are columnar cactus, especially the hardy South American trichos, as they make it though the cold winters here fairly well. My favorite of the cuttings I bought from you is "Rimac" It's really a monster growing plant and I think that it's just getting started! Could this be the same plant as I've seen a few places on the internet as Macrogonus? The pictures look quite similar. Thanks again, Take Care, Willie |
