Roots can grow out the sides of San Pedro if it is horizontal. The section below began to grow roots into the bamboo fence it was leaning against.
What the? This piece was simply leaned against a bamboo reed fence for support. It made root buds to try to grow into the fence. This shows how "self rooting" this species is.
