San Pedro x Trichocereus Peruvianus hybrid—
an interesting cross propagated by cuttings
11-23T / 21" Hybrid / 11.5 lbs. / $74.95 + shipping FedEx Ground (USA only)
Cutting rooted in 2011.
Repot to 6 -10 gallon container for good growth in 2012.
I bought a Hybrid cutting about 8 years ago that has been propagated each year by cuttings. The seed used to be for sale but I haven't seen it offered for the past several years.
My field grown hybrid used for a source of cuttings
(above) In full sun the spines get longer - a trait I've noticed with Peruvianus varieties. Whoever created this marriage of the two Trichocereus varieties made a bit of magic as this one is rewarding to grow. I only have a few of these to sell each year.
